Online The TOC analyzer is a device for continuous monitoring of total organic carbon in water. The principle of operation is based on the UV absorption method. This method utilises the characteristic absorption bands of organic matter in the UV region to determine the TOC value of water by measuring the degree of absorption of a water sample of a specific wavelength of UV light. Specifically, when UV light passes through the water sample, the organic matter in the water absorbs a certain amount of UV light, which results in a weakening of the intensity of the UV light passing through the water sample. The intensity of the light passing through the water sample decreases. The absorption of light is directly proportional to the concentration of organic matter in the solution, so the TOC value can be calculated by measuring the degree of light absorption. The sensor converts the light signal into an electrical signal and transmits it to the data processing system. The data processing system calculates the TOC value of the water sample based on the preset calibration curve and the measurement data, and displays or outputs it digitally.
