Turbidity sensors typically measure turbidity by utilising the phenomenon of light scattering as it travels through water. When a beam of light passes through a water sample, suspended particles in the water scatter the light, resulting in an attenuation of the light intensity. By measuring the intensity of the scattered light, the turbidity of the water sample can be calculated. Turbidity sensors are usually equipped with temperature compensation circuits and linearisation circuits, which ensure high sensitivity and excellent reproducibility of the sensor under different environmental conditions. Turbidity sensors are widely used in water quality monitoring, wastewater treatment, waterworks, aquaculture and other fields. By monitoring the turbidity of water in real time, the water treatment process can be optimised to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of water quality management.
